ROI Calculator
Calculate your return on investment and, optionally, an annualized rate.
How ROI Is Calculated
ROI (%) = ((Final Value − Initial Investment) / Initial Investment) × 100
If you also enter a holding period, we calculate the annualized return too — this converts your total gain into an equivalent yearly rate, so a 30% return over 1 year and a 30% return over 5 years can be fairly compared.
Worked Example
You invest ₹2,00,000 and it grows to ₹2,60,000 over 3 years. ROI = 30%. Annualized, that works out to roughly 9.14% per year — a much more useful number when comparing to other investment options.
